The Emerging COVID Warriors: Distributing Free Food

Our country is battling a crisis far beyond what one could imagine. The second wave of COVID pandemic has hit us hard and has given us no time to stabilize. Whether it be sample testing, healthcare facilities, or the vaccination drive, each sector has fallen short of the demand.

But the one thing which has given us a glimmer of hope is Humanity. The brotherhood and unity in our society have never looked so promising as it has recently to fight against the COVID surge. The generosity of people, known or unknown, and the power of social media has transcended the panic in the air.

While we pay huge respect to our front line workers, there are also other strata of society trying to help in the best possible way. Among them, notably are the Restaurant Owners or Individuals, who are selflessly distributing food at no or nominal costs in their cities. This pious deed has been a significant relief for many families who cannot procure daily meals, to people suffering from the virus and even to the brave front line workers.

Petpooja recognises and lauds such emerging heroes from the F&B industry. We are extremely grateful to the restaurateurs for their kind help to the society in times of dire need. They are serving as role models and inspiration for others.

Here, we would like to mention some of the warriors and motivate them to keep up the good work.
